Whole 30 day 18-20.. went to the summer cabin for the weekend.

Still doing a the whole30, however this weekend i did “cheat” on saturday when I went to a dinner we were invited to. I had some wine and sauce to the fish that was served. On Sunday evening on our way home I also ended up having kabob with rice and creamy garlic sauce ( i thought they were going to give me the tomato sauce). It was very interesting because I felt a difference really fast in my body. It is strange how quickly I can feel a difference. I will continue to do the whole 30, and even if i will not have done it 100 % correct I still feel like it’s been fantastic and I still have some days to go. I don’t feel like a failure, and no one should just because things didn’t go like planned. We just need to continue to do the best we can and not give up 😀

Day 18

  • Breakfast: Berry avocado yogurt
  • Lunch: Oven baked salmon with a raw beet, kale, apple salad
  • Snack: Clementine and some raw hazelnuts
  • Dinner: Salad topped with lots of veggies, chicken and avocado

Day 19 at the cabin

  • Breakfast: Eggs, sandwich turkey meat with banana and nuts
  • Lunch: Sweet potato mash, with steak and salad
  • Dinner: Went to a dinner where different fish and potato was served and lots of different sauces. 


Day 20 still at the cabin

  • Breakfast: Sweet potato cakes with sandwich turkey meat
  • Snack: Banana, apple and some nuts
  • Very late dinner on our way home: Kabob with rice and creamy garlic sauce

Nut meal (nut porridge)

I was really hungry this morning and wanted something fulfilling. I decided to make nut no-oatmeal since I don’t eat oats. And it sure filled me up and gave me lots of energy. I found this recipe on sockertjocken.se I changed it up a little.

For one person

  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 1/4 cup almond
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 1-2 tbsp whole flaxseed
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1/4-1/2 cup coconut
  • 1 egg


  • Blueberries
  • Pomegranate
  • Coconut milk


  1. Run the almonds, walnuts and pumpkin seeds in blender. Make sure it is minced not flour consistency.
  2. Then pour this down in a dry frying pan, add flaxseeds and roast it. When done, mix the cinnamon and remove the pan from the heat.
  3. Whisk together the coconut milk, eggs and coconut sugar separately.
  4. Then pour this down into nut mixture. Put the pan on the stove and stir in the porridge all the time. Otherwise, it may become scrambled eggs porridge, and that we would rather not. Of course when you get the desired consistency of porridge.


Jag var verkligen hungrig i morse och ville ha nÄgot riktigt mÀttande. Jag beslöt att göra nötgröt eftersom jag inte Àter havre. Och jag blev mÀtt och det gav mig massor av energi.

  • 0.5 dl valnötter
  • 0.5 dl mandel
  • 1 msk pumpafrön
  • 1-2 msk hela linfrön
  • 0.5 tsk kanel
  • 1 msk kokossocker
  • 0.5-1 dl kokosmjölk
  • 1 Ă€gg


  • BlĂ„bĂ€r
  • GranatĂ€pple kĂ€rnor
  • Kokosmjölk

Gör sÄ hÀr

  1. Kör mandel, valnötter och pumpafrön i mixer. Det ska bli finhackat, inte mjölkonsistens.
  2. HÀll sedan ner detta i en torr stekpanna, hÀll Àven ner linfröna och rosta detta. NÀr det Àr fÀrdigt, blanda ner kanel och ta pannan frÄn vÀrmen.
  3. Vispa ihop kokosmjölk, Àgg och kokossocker för sig.
  4. HÀll sedan ner detta i nöt blandningen. SÀtt tillbaka pannan pÄ spisen och rör i gröten hela tiden. Annars kan det bli scrambled eggs gröt, och det vill vi helst inte. Det Àr klart nÀr du fÄtt önskad konsistens pÄ gröten.
